The story of one photo, or, pure truth about Akhmad-hoji Khorazmiy

The picture, which was taken in 1990 in state farm Bagat, district Bagat, Khorezm region of Uzbekistan, does not go away in front of my eyes.
I was proud and even bragged that, together I was photographed with someone who for many years was a caring leader of different levels, a great scientist who was recognized as the "Pride of Khorezm".
And since 2006, I regretted that a scientist who is recognized as a pride of Khorezm turned out to be a traitor and I was pictured together with him.
For many years I was tormented by the question: "Akhmad-hoji Khorazmiy, who really is a martyr or a traitor?" For some reason, anyone (especially refugees) who left abroad, we adopted a bad habit, consider them a traitor.
Akhmad-hoji Khorazmiy in 2005 received political asylum in the UK. As I was told, the main refugees who received political asylum, are the martyrs or the traitor of the homeland for the purpose of an easy life criticizing their country
Many said that A. Khorazmiy was a real martyr, and some said that there could be a traitor, otherwise why did he leave his shining motherland. Even some non-serious people said: “Among of such famous journalists as: Abduravuf Korjavov, Yuriy Tsekanov, Jabbar Razzakov, Baltabay Kurbanbayev, Ruzimbay Hasan, Shavkat Bolta, Rajabbay Razzakov, Abdurakhim Atamrtov, Rajabbay Babajanov who praised Khorazmiy to all of the country and you as the reporter of the newspaper "Khalk Suzi" (Folk word) was among them", I felt ashamed of myself, thinking: "really we praised the traitor?! "

Even thinking that I wrongly praised him, and planned to write a feuilleton "The Variety of Man inside." To write the feuilleton about Khorazmiy has been said several times and Ruzimbay Hasan as well.
We could not find facts that could become the basis for writing feuilleton. Those who spoke negatively about Khorazmiy did not have anything grounded, everyone was envious and slanderous.

Candidate of agricultural sciences, laureate of the prize of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, head of the agricultural department of the Communist party (Hokimiyat) of Bagat, Akhmed Abayevich Khasanov (since 1993, Akhmad-hoji Khorazmiy) when he worked abroad, came to attention of the then leaders of Uzbekistan (Sh. Rashidov and I. Zhurabekov), in December 1988, by a majority vote of the working people, he was elected as the director of a large state farm Bagat, where several candidates took part.
As the correspondent-photographer of the central newspapers, I met many managers of the farms. As I know, the heads of the farms are avoided to the extent possible from representatives of science and creative (journalists) figures. This director was a completely different leader. He was always surrounded by scientists and journalists. He talked to the soil and plants through his eyes. He turned an agronomist, any journalist or writer who spent one day with him.
Such famous Khorezmian poets as Erkin Samandar, Matnazar Abdulhakim, Kamil Avaz, such cultural figures as Ortik Otazhanov, Kutlimurat Kuchakov, the artist as Ibadulla Abdullayev turned their favorite guests of the state farm.
State farm Bagat turned into a source of cadre during the years of A. Khorazmiy's reign. As a result of his high authority in front of the leaders of the district and the region, the secretary of the party committee of the state farm, Yu. Matyakubov, on the recommendation of Khorazmiy, became chairman of the District Executive Committee.
His deputy on cultural issues H.Allaberganov became chairman of the Navoi collective farm, another deputy A.Allayarov - chairman of the Atov farm. Senior engineer Khudargan became chairman of the collective farm Abad of the Khazarasp district. His deputy for agriculture K. Abdullaev, he prepared the chairman of the collective farm (in Khanka) where he lives.
He worked day and night tirelessly to transfer agriculture into a scientific basis. Its ecological method (No. ID 04369) is widely used by the period and method of fertilizing cotton. On the initiative of the director, the crop rotation "Cotton-rice" and "Cotton-wheat-rice" were put into production. As a result, the state farm in 1989 fulfilled the plan for the harvesting of cotton in October 3, the first in the republic. In the years when he supervised the state farm, not 1 kg of cotton was collected by hand.
On the instructions of the Government of the Republic (I.Karimov) on October 4, 1989, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers S.Sultanova, along with the leaders of the Khorezm region, was sent to the state farm in order to congratulate the workers of the state farm on this success.
The celebration was held in the field camp of Kadir Allaberganov's brigade. S.Sultanov under the applause handed the director A.Khorazmiy the key of the car VAZ-06 "Zhiguli", for the fulfilment of the plan the procurement of cotton first in the republic.

And Khorazmiy thanked the government for this gift, and noting that the main role played contractors and machine operators in this success of the state farm, and gave the key to the contractor (Soliya) who fulfilled the plan first in the state farm (and in the republic too).
S.Sultanova re-entering said: "Not only the fulfilment of the plan for the harvesting of cotton, also, the car which was given to your director, he gave you and this was also the first case in the republic”.
The success of the state farm in the Moscow program "Time", too, was overflowed with talk. When A. Khorazmiy worked in Mozambique (Africa), he became acquainted with I.Zhurabekov and in their further connection were good. Maybe for this reason, too, Zhurabekov was the initiator of the inclusion in the list of objects that will be the visit of the head of the Republic, I Karimov.
In August 1990, the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Uzbekistan, I.A.Karimov arrived in Khorezm on a visit. In the list of his visit was the state farm Bagat, as the best farm in the region. The target Regional and District Party was that, showing Karimov creative work of the farm, get his consent for introducing the director of the state farm A. Khorazmiy to the hero of labour, and this issue they agreed with I. Zhurabekov in advance.
In 1990, Karimov instructed Zhurabekov: "On the basis of the results of the year, the preparation of the head of the state farm of the hero of labor." In connection with that, since 1991 A.Khorazmiy has passed to other work this question has stopped.
Finally, I.Karimov's visit to the state farm was held in 1998. As a result, the title of the hero of Uzbekistan on the basis of the proverb: "Not the one who tried, to whom it is destined" was given to M. Kuvakov - the next director of the state farm.

During the directorship both, I worked on a state farm. And at the present time I keep in touch the workers of the state farm. Mashrif aka was also a hardworking and business person. A. Khorazmiy was a strong farmer, M. Kuvakov was strong in economics in my opinion.
For 2 years Khorazmiy did a lot of work in the state farm. Violating the decision of the Communist Party, Khorazmiy built a mosque, improved the cemetery, the workers of the state farm gave a stead of 16 sotih, that is, twice as wide as is legally imposed. The state farm's income reached 6.7 million rubles in 1989, in 1990 it exceeded 7.4 million rubles (1 $ = 0.7-0.8 rubles). Profitability came in 1989 32.6% and in 1990 it exceeded 45%.
Since 1991, A. Khorazmiy moved to another job and we did not meet. But we always heard about him and read about him: When Akhmad Hoji Khorazmiy worked as a responsible worker of the regional Government (Hokimiyat), the director of the inter-district association of the MRPO "Uzselkhozhimiya", the director of the Khorezm Institute of Cotton Growing, the professor of the Tashkent State Agrarian University, was successful, which was no lower than at the state farm.
About Khorazmiy in the central press were often published such materials as "The Pride of Khorezm", "The Advisor of the Khorezm peasant", "The Invention of KhorazmIy" and others. Even his activities fell into the field of sight of the Turkmen President Saparmurat Turkmenbashi, and a long article entitled "In the Footsteps of Al-Khorezmi” from a photo was published on the main Turkmen Republic newspaper "Vatan" (Homeland). And in the result President the Turkmenbashi invited him to meetings and we were aware of this event.

Since 2006, there have been audible unpleasant rumors about Khorazmiy as "He left his homeland", "Received political asylum in the UK", "Joined the international radio "Ozodlik ", the BBC." Then it was known that Khorazmiy was on these radio stations as a scientist-specialist.
In 2011, in connection with the execution of Khorazmiy Prophet’s (63) year, his relatives built a symbolic grave to him next to his parents. When we heard that his grave was cruelly turned into ruins in 2012, by order of the top, we were horrified. Because such a case occurred in the first in the history of Uzbekistan.
In 2016, A. Khorazmiy, speaking on the radio Ozodlik (Freedom), said: "I am a citizen of a great and enlightening country. I receive a lot more than the salaries of any 2 Uzbek ministers. For me, the doors of the World are widely open. But all these blessings will not change the saline soil of the homeland - Khorezm. At the first opportunity, I will return to my homeland". Soon, his utterances came to YouTube in the form of a song: "A. Khorazmiy sings."
It was not a traitor but a real patriot. I was glad that in due time I could not find the materials of the writing of the feuilleton. God protectet us shamed. Through the journalists the radio found the coordinates of Khorazmiy and contacted him.
I planned to write a recommendation-paper titled: "Who is Khorazmiy in fact?" I spoke to such well-known journalists as Ruzimbay Hasan and activists where A. Khorazmiy worked. When I read the material illuminated the reasons for his abandonment of the homeland, which is fully based on facts and documents: "The hard struggle for beliefs, people, fatherland and justice, or, how I turned out to be the enemy of the Karimov regime," my eyes opened abruptly.
In order I get more materials about him, he posted to me: 1-volume Selected Works, which was called "About Akhmad Hoji Khorazmiy", which is more than 600 pages, 16-volume Selected Works, which is called "The Fundamentals of Islam", and 12-volume entitled "Khorezm satires".
Although these books were sent in early January 2017, did not reach me. As it was known, these books came to Tashkent on February 8, 2017 and these books have been thoroughly studied by relevant organizations for more than six months.
And finally, in August 2017 I was invited to the Tashkent City Customs Service where "customs officials" were questioned on these books to sweat.
But they did not even show me these books. When asked the reasons, they brought me to blackmail by saying: "These books have dangerous ideas, on politics, propaganda and unification of Khorezm" and took explanatory notes from me.
I was gripped by the thought, did my friend Khorazmiy send me such harmful books that would put me in jeopardy. Then Khorazmiy sent me via the Internet electronic copies of these books in pdf format.
When I read them, it turns out that, articles and photographs published in different types of publications about A.Khorazmiy are placed in the 1-volume of Selected Works. Among them were photographs that I made in 1989-90. The 16th volume of Selected Works is dedicated to Islam and Sufism, which is a priceless manual. The 12-volume consists of very interesting satirical stories.
In these books there is not a word about politics, or propaganda, or the unification of Khorezm. It turns out all this is a lie invented by "employees of customs services", in order to continue to blacken Khorazmiy.
These works of Khorazmiy should not be hidden, but rather they should be brought to Uzbek readers as soon as possible. Then they bring undeniable huge benefits.
Finally, I found an exhaustive answer to the question "Akhmad Hoji Khorazmiy who really?" which tortured me for many years.

This article we read again and again, the author turns out to be really a brave journalist. For justice, he wrote the truth without fear of "the staff (SNB) of the customs service."
In the Khorazmiy issue for a long time we are uncomprehending for one. The members of opposition party ERK, and Birlik plaintiff for the throne, independent journalists and human rights activists criticize the Government. Therefore, the Government (SNB) does not like them.
Khorazmiy has nothing to do with the above, then why did he become the enemy of the regime? We know about his accessions to Ozodlik (Freedom) and the BBC. He joined these radio as a specialist scientist.

Certainly very pleasant news. For 9 years I have been observing this man's entry into the press. I know that the teacher Akhmad Hoji Khorazmiy is the pride of our homeland and the people. Many such good people are still abroad, but many are unaware of these. But the time will come such people as Shanazar and write about them.

Pitiful Khorazmiy needed for rehabilitation 10 years. And Akhmed Hasanov is grateful to this. The journalist on the basis of the facts proved that Khorazmiy is not a traitor, but a patriot of the homeland.

The truth was written by a reputable hoji-journalist. We all knew this truth. But we lacked courage like him. Convincingly showed who (the Pride of Khorezm) really Akhmad Hoji Khorazmiy.
